Applications for the following vacancies at the NC4H is now open, closing on the 31st of March 2019. Those interested in the positions can send their CVs. All applications must be sent to vacancies@napiercentre.org as indicated in the job advert before 31 March 2019, alternatively can be dropped at the Denis Hurley Center.

HOUSE PARENTS

A MARRIED COUPLE to be HOUSE PARENTS and operational managers of the centre. These are live- in positions that will require specialized training which will be provided. As house parents experience in dealing with drug addiction would be helpful, and as managers, computer literacy and some management experience is required. The successful candidates should have good communication skills in English and isiZulu.

SOCIAL WORKER

A qualified and registered SOCIAL WORKER to work with, assist and guide our residents and families in their rehabilitation process. The successful candidate will work with our Programme Director and House Parents to achieve this goal.  This will include individual counselling and group therapy sessions. Previous experience in a related field will be a recommendation. Also, strict confidentiality and meticulous administrative skills are essential for this post. The successful candidate should have good communication skills in English and isiZulu.

KITCHEN SUPERVISOR

A person to SUPERVISE THE OPERATIONS IN OUR KITCHEN. The kitchen will prepare three meals daily, and teas (twice a day) for approximately twenty people.  Key responsibilities will also include accurate stock keeping of foods and linen and maintaining strict hygiene standards at all times. The successful candidate should have good communication skills in English and isiZulu.

GARDENER

A person to maintain the site on which the centre is situated. This includes gardening, cleaning and maintaining hand-tools and light machinery which will be provided.
